R&L Manufacturing is a relatively new company with origins in the 2000s when a design engineer was overseeing a simple inquiry to examine a pipe system for the purpose of removing internal fusion beads on HDPE piping systems. Once it was incorporated in April 2000, the company started manufacturing de-beading equipment to be utilized in thermoplastic pipe.

R&L Manufacturing produces internal bead trimmer heads that are used for removing beads from HDPE pipe interiors after they have undergone a successful butt fusion. These trimmer heads are available in several different sizes for pipes as small as 3” or as large as 24”. Besides the trimmer, a torque tube assembly is also required.
